Maximize your Space with a Corner Tub!

After many years of the-same-old-same-old bathroom, we finally decided to do a remodeling project. We don’t have a lot of money to spend on this project, nor a large bathroom for that matter, so we were going to replace our existing shower stall by taking it, and the linen closet next to it, out and then putting in a shower with a bench-type seat in it.

That was before we went to the home improvement store to look at the selection of bathroom bathtubs. It was a little daunting to see all the different sizes and styles, and we even had a slight squabble in the aisle while discussing which color to choose. At one point we were leaning toward turning our basement bathroom into a spa and started pricing those since they allow two people or more depending on the size. The price tag on those squelched those ideas in a hurry.

Then we spotted a corner bathtub Jacuzzi unit. It offers the best of both worlds! Even with our limited space, a two-person corner bathtub would fit perfectly, and with the Jacuzzi features, we’d have the spa experience as well

corner bathtubs range in price from $600 to $1600, offer one and two-person styles, lumbar support, built in armrests, slip-resistant bottoms, dimensions that will fit in any size bathroom, and adjustable jets. With all these features, I’m sure to soak for at least an hour every time I’m in the bathtub. Good thing we have more than one bathroom.

So if you’re like us and have limited space or think that having a Jacuzzi isn’t possible in your bathroom, consider corner bathtubs. With a little creativity, we plan to take our bathroom from the ho-hum to the fabulous. The only thing holding us back now is how to decorate the rest of the bathroom!
